Recombinant protein of Bacillus melioides HCP1

Recombinant Hemolysin-coregulated protein 1 (rHcp1) from Burkholderia pseudomallei (formerly Bacillus melioides) is a crucial virulence factor and a primary candidate for subunit vaccines and diagnostic assays for melioidosis. It is often expressed in Escherichia coli and purified for research, acting as a key component of the Type VI Secretion System (T6SS1).

Details

Burkholderia pseudomallei (BP), a facultative intracellular Gram-negative bacillus, causes a zoonotic disease called melioidosis. Studies have shown that hemolysin coregulated protein 1 (HCP1), as a virulence factor of BP's Type VI secretion system (T6SS), can stimulate the body to produce specific antibodies, and has potential applications in serological identification and screening of vaccine candidate antigens. Our company provides recombinant HCP1 protein (Fig. 1).
