Staphylococcal enterotoxin (SE) is a group of exotoxins secreted by Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus). It is the most common pathogen causing food poisoning, with serotypes such as SEA, SEB, SEC, SED, and SEE causing significant clinical symptoms. SE is also considered a biological weapon; the United States listed SEB as a weapon agent in the 1960s. It has been proven that inhaling 30 ng of SEB in aerosol form can cause poisoning symptoms and incapacitation. Nanjing Miaodi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. provides SEB-paired monoclonal antibodies, which can be supplied as raw materials to immunodiagnostic reagent companies for research and development. This paired monoclonal antibody was obtained by immunizing mice with purified SEB antigen and undergoing multiple rounds of screening and identification. It has the following characteristics: 1. It has extremely strong binding specificity. The double antibody sandwich ELISA composed of this paired monoclonal antibody binds only to natural SEB (Figure 1) and does not bind to natural SEA, natural SEC, natural SED, or natural SEE; 2. It has high sensitivity, showing a sensitivity of 0.5 ng/ml on the double antibody sandwich ELISA (the sandwich material is natural SEB, Table 1); 3. This paired monoclonal antibody is suitable for detection platforms such as ELISA and colloidal gold.
