Staphylococcus
aureus (S. aureus) is an important pathogen causing foodborne
infectious diseases. Among its many pathogenic factors, enterotoxin
(Staphylococcal Enterotoxin, SE), which can cause acute gastroenteritis
clinically, is the most potent. Nanjing Miaodi Biotechnology Co., Ltd.
provides native Staphylococcal Enterotoxin E (nSEE) as a research raw
material for immunodiagnostic reagent companies.
The
aforementioned native SEE was purified from Staphylococcus aureus
culture supernatant with a purity exceeding 95% (Figure 1). It has been
identified by mass spectrometry and dissolved in 0.01M, pH 7.3 PBS.
Detection results using the r-biopharm Staphylococcus aureus intestinal
typing ELISA kit (Ridascreen set A, B, C, D, E, Art NO: R4101) showed
that this natural protein has extremely high specificity and purity
(Table 1).
